Christmas Eve Offering

Christmas Eve Offering

woodland.jpg

As we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace, who calls us into reconciling love, our Christmas Eve offering will help us to live into reconciliation with our Haudenosaunee neighbours by supporting the Save the Evidence Campaign at the Woodland Cultural Centre  - a Six Nations initiated project:

  • To restore the Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School (one of only a handful of Indian residential schools still left standing in Canada)

  • For the audio and visual documentation of Survivor stories

  • For development of educational resource materials

  • For development of exhibits which preserve the history and celebrate the culture and traditions of the Haudenosaunee peoples.

** Financial donations can be made by cash, cheque (made payable to Stirling and designated “Christmas Eve”) or online at www.canadahelps.org (with  “Christmas Eve” in the message box).
