Ramadan Greeting Project

Ramadan.jpg

Join us in sending Ramadan Greetings to our Turkish Muslim friends through the Intercultural Dialogue Institute (IDI). While we can't gather to celebrate an Iftar meal with our friends from IDI this year, we are compiling greetings from our Stirling community to wish our friends "Ramadan Mubarak" (Happy Ramadan) To participate, take a picture of yourself or your family holding a card with your greeting, or film a 10 - 20
second video with you sharing your greeting, and email it to Ruth and Eric Hunsberger at   ruthanderic2019@gmail.com by May 10th.  MPJ will then compile all the messages and send them on to our friends at IDI.

Some ideas of phrases to write/share are:

Ramandan Mubark:

  • "Have a blessed Ramadan" or “Happy Ramadan”

Ramadan Kareem:

  • "Have a generous Ramadan"

  • "May this Ramadan be filled with joy, health, and wealth"

  • "All the blessings for this holy month."

Or any message you would like to pass on to our friends.

Thank you for joining us in sharing our support for the Muslim community during this holy month that is sually shared with family, friends & neighbours.
